This high-power infrared light source is a premium Silicon Nitride glow bar designed for affordable, reliable, and stable performance in the inspIRe spectrometer. This glow bar delivers continuous, broadband infrared output from 2-12 µm, ideal for mid-IR and near-IR spectroscopy
Operating at 12 V / 56 W and reaching temperatures up to ≈ 1200 °C, this glow bar offers robust thermal stability and a broad emission spectrum characteristic of a black-body radiator. Its stable, high-emissivity silicon-nitride element ensures consistent output over long use, making it a dependable replacement or consumable IR source for critical spectroscopy tasks.
